The eira, the solaina, and the pendello —vernacular productive spaces— form the setting for local life. We reinterpret these qualities, rooted in the memory of Carballo, to structure the relationship between interior and exterior within the proposal.

The building is concentrated along the northwestern edge, freeing up space for the public square. One enters through the solaina, gathers in the eira, and lingers in the pendello.
